Allegiance Mobile Health acquires Matagorda County EMS - Texas

Bay City, Texas, November 2, 2016:  Allegiance Mobile Health has acquired the assets of Matagorda County EMS in South Texas.  Matagorda County EMS currently operates the ambulance system in Matagorda County, Texas.  As the sole ambulance provider, Matagorda County EMS provides 911 Emergency, Non-Emergency and Inter-facility ambulance transports. Matagorda County Commissioners unanimously approved the assignment of the ambulance service contract to Allegiance Mobile Health. The combined operations of Matagorda County EMS and Allegiance Mobile Health will operate a fleet of nearly 50 ambulances in South Texas.
