David M. Lee

Chairman and CEO

Mr. Lee joined Allegiance Mobile Health as Executive Chairman in 2013 and was subsequently selected to also serve as CEO in 2014.  He brings an immensely varied background with extensive experience in rapid scaling across a diverse portfolio of industries. In addition to being the first institutional investor in Allegiance, Mr. Lee was also an investor in 2009 and served on the Board of Central Texas EMS until it sold in 2011.  From 2007 to 2019, Mr. Lee served as Executive Chairman of ESO Solutions.  He played a key role in the organization’s strategy to develop and acquire EMS related products that capture the data needed to drive efficiencies, improve patient care, increase revenue and enhance the continuum of care.

For over 15 years, Mr. Lee has also served as Chairman, President and CEO of Sentient Ventures. In this capacity, his funds have invested in 26 companies and he has participated as a Board member/observer for 15 portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Lee served as Senior Vice-President of the Products Division of Viasoft with responsibility for worldwide Marketing, R&D and Customer Support, which was acquired for $152 million.  Prior to Viasoft, Mr. Lee held various management positions with Tivoli systems where he went through an initial public offering and an acquisition by IBM for $743 million, which enabled the company to grow annual sales to over $1 billion.

Mr. Lee has been active in the community and in non-profit organizations with such roles as Board of Trustees Member, Foxcroft School, Board of Trustees Member, Trinity Episcopal School, Board Member, Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas (EF), Advisory Board Chairman, School of Management and Business, St. Edward’s University, Advisory Council Member, College of Natural Sciences, The University of Texas at Austin, Steering Committee Member, Venture Capital Fellows Entrepreneurship Program, Advisory Board Member, 3M Vision Grant (TxEntre) for Woman and Minority Entrepreneurs, Board Chairman, TexChange Austin and Steering Committee Member, Austin Technology Incubator (ATI).

Daniel K. Gillespie

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Gillespie currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Since joining Allegiance Mobile Health in 2014, he has applied his extensive knowledge of the industry to quickly adopt best practices and drive continuous improvement.  Mr. Gillespie previously held several management positions with Procarent of Indiana/Kentucky/Missouri eventually serving as Executive Director of their Missouri operations. Prior to Procarent, he held the position of Division General Manager of Rural/Metro Ambulance in Indiana where he led operations recognized as leading performers within the organization. Mr. Gillespie also served as Program Manager for the St. Vincent Hospital EMS and Critical Care Transport in Indianapolis.  He is a certified EMT and served on the Wayne Township Indianapolis Fire Department.

Mr. Gillespie graduated from University of Indianapolis with a degree in accounting and business administration.  He has served on the Board of Directors for the American Ambulance Association and is actively involved in issues affecting the EMS industry on a national level.

Kathrynne A. Johns

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Johns currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. She is a seasoned executive who brings more than 20 years of FP&A, accounting and operational finance experience at regional and national levels. Her expertise includes scaling national systems, automating and standardizing business processes; and developing organizational growth-based solutions. Ms. Johns also brings a wealth of EMS industry experience including M&A, county and hospital-based RFP preparation, modernizing medical and vehicle-based inventory systems and processes, and leveraging automation tools for budgeting, forecasting and functional KPI reporting.

Most recently she served as Vice President of Finance at Northpoint Recovery and Trumpet Behavioral Health. Prior to that, she held various regional and national roles including interim CFO and National Director of Financial Reporting at Falck USA and Regional Finance Manager at Rural Metro Corporation. She began her career at Sierra Health Services (now United Healthcare) where she spent 8 years in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility.

Dr. Alicia D. Hart, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Alicia D. Hart, MD is a highly respected emergency medicine physician and EMS medical director in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She attended and graduated from Texas A&M University College of Medicine in 2003.  Dr. Hart has over 14 years of diverse experience in emergency departments, family practice medicine and EMS education and medical oversight of one of the largest EMS training programs in South Texas.  Dr. Hart is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP) as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).  She is affiliated with several south Texas hospitals including Care Regional Medical Center and Corpus Christi Medical Center.

Stephanie M. Roth

Regional Vice President of Operations - South 

Ms. Roth joined Allegiance Mobile Health in 2016 as the Regional Director of Operations for Corpus Christi, Houston and San Antonio. Ms. Roth has worked with private ambulance companies for over 18 years.  She advanced from a street paramedic to a supervisor position in 2004 with Gateway Ambulance, of Saint Louis, Missouri.  She was able to excel and manage over150 Teamster member EMS employees, EMD dispatch center, and wheelchair van service. Her ability to build trusted relationships with the union officials, hospitals, city leaders, and employees assisted her promotion to a management position in 2007, within the same company. 

Justin W. Cude

Regional Vice President of Operations - East

Mr. Cude joined Allegiance Mobile Health in 2015 through the acquisition of Americare EMS as the Director of Operations.  Mr. Cude started his EMS career over 15 years ago leading his way up through the ranks as a Paramedic.  He attended Lamar Institute of Technology where he completed the Paramedic Program as well as EMS Instructor Program.  He currently serves on multiple Educational EMS Advisory Committees helping lead the future in EMS.  Mr. Cude is an active member of the Deep East Texas Regional Advisory Council Trauma Service Area where he currently holds the Treasurer position on the Board of Directors.  Mr. Cude has vast knowledge in Emergency Management with multiple disaster deployments across the United States. He serves as a team member in the Polk County Office of Emergency Management during disasters.  Mr. Cude oversees Allegiance Mobile Health's East Region, which consists of high acuity rural 911 service areas as well as critical care transfer areas.

Amanda M. Baum-Lipstein

Regional Vice President of Operations - North, Central, and Houston

Ms. Baum joined Allegiance Mobile Health’s team in 2017 as the District Manager for the Greater Austin market overseeing the Georgetown communications center and Greater Austin field operation. She promoted to Director of Communications in 2018 taking on the management of all of Allegiance Mobile Health’s communication centers. Ms. Baum began her career in EMS in 2006 when she earned her Texas Fire Fighter and EMT certifications. She went on to earn her Paramedic and Emergency Medical Dispatcher certifications in 2009 and received her bachelors in business administration with a focus in healthcare management from Liberty University in 2018. She completed her Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Liberty University in 2022.  Prior to joining Allegiance Mobile Health’s team, Ms. Baum worked as an EMT on an ambulance, emergency medical dispatcher, transportation coordinator, and dispatch supervisor for Acadian Ambulance and as an EMS Liaison with Ascension Health’s Seton Family of Hospitals. 

Stacy L. Williams

Director of Clinical Case Management / Chief Compliance Officer

Ms. Williams began her EMS career in 1989 working on a ground unit as an EMT and Paramedic until 1998 when she expanded her clinical prowess and became a flight medic. Ms. Williams continued in the flight medic path until 2002. Beginning in 2002 she worked in a variety of positions that created a vast knowledge base for billing, clinical excellence, communications, compliance requirements, facility relations, and governmental relations. She joined the Allegiance Mobile Health team in 2015 as a Regional Transport Navigator and promoted to Director of Clinical Case Management in 2018. Over the last 8 years she has managed the RTN team to ensure successful transports, minimize liability on billable transports, and facilitate education for Hospitals and Facilities on proper procedures for transporting patients. Custom built the QAQR Team to achieve next day billing and boost collections. She also helps manage operations by working closely with the Regional Vice Presidents. Ms. Williams received her BASc in Psychology from Post University in June 2021 and is currently working on her Masters in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Marissa L. Mayfield

Director of Billing

Ms. Mayfield joined Allegiance Mobile Health full time in 2018 as the Billing Director. Prior to her full time employment she worked as a consultant on and off since 2016 with the company. Ms. Mayfield has been in the Private Ambulance industry for over 20 years. As Billing Director, her duties include managing the daily revenue cycle of the accounts receivable department, identifying trends within the department, developing Key Performance Indicators, implementation and training for billing software, keeping informed of changing industry rules and regulations as well as educating staff. Ms. Mayfield graduated from Fordham University with a BA in Business Administration and in 2023 her Master in Business Adminstration (MBA) from Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
