David M. Lee
Chairman and CEO
Mr. Lee joined Allegiance Mobile Health as Executive Chairman in 2013 and was subsequently selected to also serve as CEO in 2014. He brings an immensely varied background with extensive experience in rapid scaling across a diverse portfolio of industries. In addition to being the first institutional investor in Allegiance, Mr. Lee was also an investor in 2009 and served on the Board of Central Texas EMS until it sold in 2011. Since 2007, Mr. Lee has also served as Executive Chairman of ESO Solutions. He plays a key role in the organization’s strategy to develop and acquire EMS related products that capture the data needed to drive efficiencies, improve patient care, increase revenue and enhance the continuum of care.
For nearly 15 years, Mr. Lee has also served as Chairman, President and CEO of Sentient Ventures. In this capacity, his funds have invested over $80 million in 26 companies and he has participated as a Board member/observer for 13 portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Lee served as Senior Vice-President of the Products Division of Viasoft. He was responsible for worldwide Marketing, R&D and Customer Support with an associated $100 million P&L. Prior to Viasoft, Mr. Lee was with Tivoli systems where he went through an initial public offering, was subsequently acquired by IBM for $743 million and saw the company grow to annual sales exceeding $1 billion.
Mr. Lee has been active in the community and in non-profit organizations with such roles as Board Member, Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas (EF), Board of Trustees Member, Trinity Episcopal School, Advisory Board Chairman, School of Management and Business, St. Edward’s University, Advisory Council Member, College of Natural Sciences, The University of Texas at Austin, Steering Committee Member, Venture Capital Fellows Entrepreneurship Program, Advisory Board Member, 3M Vision Grant (TxEntre) for Woman and Minority Entrepreneurs, Board Chairman, TexChange Austin and Steering Committee Member, Austin Technology Incubator (ATI).
Ricky L. Powell
Mr. Powell joined Allegiance in 2014 and brings nearly three decades of industry experience at a variety of levels. Prior to joining Allegiance, Mr. Powell served as Chairman and CEO of Guardian EMS which he founded in 2000. Under his leadership Guardian grew to become one of the most successful private ambulance services in Texas. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Powell has extensive knowledge in systems, marketing and all facets of field operations. Before founding Guardian, Mr. Powell held several key roles with Rural Metro including General Manager for Tennessee and Louisiana and Director of Marketing for Dallas. He also served in the U.S. Air Force where he began his career as a firefighter and medic.
He is dedicated to improving the quality of EMS for the citizens of the communities Allegiance serves. Mr. Powell recognizes his success is due to the Company’s most valuable asset – the dedicated professionals of Allegiance Mobile Health.
Daniel K. Gillespie
Chief of Operations
Mr. Gillespie currently serves as Chief of Operations for one of the fastest growing markets within the Company. Since joining Allegiance Mobile Health in 2014, he has applied his extensive knowledge of the industry to quickly adopt best practices and drive continuous improvement. Mr. Gillespie previously held several management positions with Procarent of Indiana/Kentucky/Missouri eventually serving as Executive Director of their Missouri operations. Prior to Procarant, he held the position of Division General Manager of Rural/Metro Ambulance in Indiana where he led operations recognized as leading performers within the organization. Mr. Gillespie also served as Program Manager for the St. Vincent Hospital EMS and Critical Care Transport in Indianapolis. He is a certified EMT and served on the Wayne Township Indianapolis Fire Department.
Mr. Gillespie graduated from University of Indianapolis with a degree in accounting and business administration. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the American Ambulance Association and is actively involved in issues affecting the EMS industry on a national level.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Rudasill joined Allegiance Mobile Health in 2013 as Vice President of Finance and became the acting CFO in 2016. She is responsible for corporate finance, including Accounting, Payroll, Business Analytics, and Tax, Audit and Fixed Asset management. Ms. Rudasill graduated from Angelo State University with a BBA in Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant. She has been a licensed CPA for more than 20 years. Before joining the Allegiance team, she worked in Banking and Public Accounting. Ms. Rudasill brings a wealth of accounting and finance experience to Allegiance Mobile Health.
Dr. Alicia D. Hart, MD
Dr. Alicia D. Hart, MD is a highly respected emergency medicine physician and EMS medical director in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended and graduated from Texas A&M University College of Medicine in 2003. Dr. Hart has over 14 years of diverse experience in emergency departments, family practice medicine and EMS education and medical oversight of one of the largest EMS training programs in South Texas. Dr. Hart is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP) as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP). She is affiliated with several south Texas hospitals including Care Regional Medical Center and Corpus Christi Medical Center.
Vice President - Controller
Ms. Coufal is the Vice President - Controller at Allegiance Mobile Health with responsibility for overseeing the Accounting department which includes accounting, general ledger, banking, accounts payables and payroll. She also assists the finance department with financial reporting, tax, audit and fixed asset management. Ms. Coufal has been with the company since its inception in January 2012. Prior to joining Allegiance Mobile Health, Ms. Coufal worked in several staff accountant positions for Brockway, Gersbach, Franklin, and Neimier PC and Pamela Winkler PC, as well as being an independent business owner for fourteen years. She exemplifies extensive accounting, finance, tax and management knowledge and exercises that knowledge in her daily activities within the company. Ms. Coufal holds a BBA in Accounting from Tarleton State University, an AA degree in Management from Temple College and multiple Certificates of Management and Accounting.
Vice President of Operations East
Mr. Kimery joined Allegiance Mobile Health in 2014 and brings nearly a quarter century of EMS and operational experience. Mr. Kimery currently is responsible for the day to day management of Allegiance’s largest operations in the state. During his tenure, the operation has grown quickly while never sacrificing the high quality standards Allegiance Mobile Health believes in. Prior to joining Allegiance, Mr. Kimery served as Director of Operations for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with Guardian EMS. During his seven (7) years at Guardian EMS, Mr. Kimery held a variety of management positions giving him an in depth understanding of the Dallas Metroplex market. He spent several years at Lifeguard Ambulance and became a Field Training Officer. Mr. Kimery began his career in EMS with the Reno Fire Rescue in Lamar County, TX in the early 90’s as an EMT-B and while there was promoted to Fire Chief.
Regional Director North
Mr. Murray joined Allegiance Mobile Health in 2014 and oversees the day to day administration of the Company’s North Texas operating group. Mr. Murray graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s of science in management and marketing. Mr. Murray has served a vital role in the success and growth of our largest operation. He holds a Texas DSHS licensed paramedic certification with over a decade of EMS operations experience. Prior to joining Allegiance, Mr. Murray served as a supervisor for Guardian EMS in the Dallas/Fort Worth market and served as the Assistant Director of Operations/Clinical Coordinator for Starplus EMS.
Regional Director South / Central
Ms. Roth joined Allegiance Mobile Health in 2016 as the Regional Director of Operations for the South division. Ms. Roth has worked with private ambulance companies for over 18 years. She advanced from a street paramedic to a supervisor position in 2004 with Gateway Ambulance, of Saint Louis Missouri. She was able to excel and manage over150 Teamster member EMS employees, EMD dispatch center, and wheelchair van service. Her ability to build trusted relationships with the union officials, hospitals, city leaders, and employees assisted her promotion to a management position in 2007, within the same company.
